Interim Management from Lynius is the temporary management of your company or individual parts of it.

Interim Management (IM) von Lynius ist die temporäre Führung Ihres Unternehmens oder einzelner Teile davon.

"Sometimes the interim solution is the best solution."

Sometimes external top management is needed to carry out difficult transformation or restructuring. On other occasions it is the simple necessity of bridging the gap until your own management team takes over. Whatever the reasons, Interim Management can be the appropriate solution.

 

Particularly in transformation phases that require the enforcement of critical decisions, it makes sense to supplement one’s own management. Our  management takes over leadership responsibility for a limited period of time and does what needs to be done to achieve agreed goals.

Interim Management from Lynius is led by C-level managers with practical experience. They are not concerned with knowing things better, but with doing them better.

How do we achieve this?

At the outset, there is the joint development of a mandate and a roadmap aligned with it. At the end, the achievement of the agreed goals within the agreed timeframe is the final result.

Andreas Tostmann studied mechanical engineering and economics at the Technical University of Braunschweig. Since the early 1990s, he has held management positions in various fields of expertise in Europe, Africa, North and South America.

 

He began his career began as a product, project and plant manager at Volkswagen, where he was involved in transformation of the business in Germany, Mexico and South Africa . In 2004, he took over as Managing Director of Volkswagen in South Africa. From 2007, he led the business of Volkswagen Slovakia as CEO and CTO. In 2012, he became Board Member for Production and Logistics at SEAT in Barcelona.  In 2018, he was appointed to the Board of Management of Volkswagen PK W for the Production and Logistics area. As of 2020, he headed MAN Truck & Bus as CEO.

 

Andreas Tostmann is a member of various Supervisory Boards as well as an Honorary Doctor of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University South Africa and an Honorary Professor of the Vienna University of Technology.

He is a founder and advisor to CEOs, board teams, owners and investors.

Wilfried von Rath

Wilfried von Rath studied psychology at the Ruhr University in Bochum.  He later completed the Executive MBA program at Ashridge Management College in Berkhamsted-UK.

 

He began his professional career at Lufthansa Consulting as a consultant for human resources and organization.  He then joined the management team at Volkswagen Coaching GmbH, where he was responsible for management development at Volkswagen AG. He then became Vice President Group HR, responsible for the top management of the Volkswagen Group.

 

After holding positions as a member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Slovakia and MAN Energy Solutions SE, he became 2020 Member of the Board of Management Human Resources of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, the largest brand within the Volkswagen Group.

Wilfried von Rath is Honorary Professor and Lecturer for Human Resources at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He has various trainings in coaching and psychological diagnostics.

Wilfried von Rath studierte Psychologie an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Später absolvierte er das Executive MBA-Programm des Ashridge Management College Berkhamsted/UK.

 

Sein beruflicher Weg begann bei der Lufthansa Consulting als Berater für Human Resources und Organisation.  Danach war er in der Volkswagen Coaching GmbH in der Geschäftsführung verantwortlich für das Management Development der Volkswagen AG. Im Anschluß war er als Vice President Group HR für das Top-Management des Volkswagen Konzerns verantwortlich. 

Nach Stationen als Mitglied des Vorstands von Volkswagen Slovakia und MAN Energy Solutions SE wurde er 2020 Mitglied des Vorstands Personal von Volkswagen PKW, der größten Marke des Volkswagen Konzerns.

 

Er ist Berater und Coach von CEO‘s, CHRO‘s, Vorstandsteams, Eigentümern und Investoren.

 

Wilfried von Rath ist Ehren-Professor und Lehrbeauftragter für Human Resources der Fachhochschule Aachen. Er absolvierte verschiedene Ausbildungen als Coach in psychologischer Diagnostik in Deutschland und in den USA.

Der studierte Maschinenbauer und Wirtschaftswissenschaftler ist seit Anfang der 1990er Jahre in Führungspositionen in unterschiedlichen Bereichen in Europa, Afrika sowie Nordamerika tätig.

 

Seine Karriere begann er als Produkt-, Projekt- und Werksmanager bei Volkswagen, wo er an entscheidenden Transformationen in Deutschland, Mexiko und Südafrika beteiligt war. 2004 übernahm er als Managing Director die Leitung von Volkswagen in Südafrika. Ab 2007 leitete er als CEO und CTO die Geschäfte von Volkswagen Slovakia. 2012 wurde er Vorstand für Produktion und Logistik bei SEAT in Barcelona. 2018 folgte seine Berufung in den Vorstand von Volkswagen PKW für das Resort Produktion und Logistik. Ab 2020 leitete er als CEO die MAN Truck & Bus.

 

Er ist Gründer und Berater von CEOs, Vorstandsteams, Eigentümer und Investoren.

 

Andreas Tostmann ist Ehren-Doktor der Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University South Africa und Ehren-Professor der Technischen Universität Wien.
